Now on YouTube : Thriving Outside Of Your Comfort Zone With Rachael Jayne Groover

I had the pleasure of chatting with my sister Rachael Jayne Groover creator of the Awakened School, about her most recent book, Unshakeable Inner Peace - Get off the Mental and Emotional Rollercoaster for Good.

I think that one of the major things that separates the thriving artist living their best creative life, and the artist that is stressed and stuck in a rut, is the ability to be stable and steady outside of their comfort zone.

If you think about it, being an artist is probably existing 99.9% of the time outside of our comfort zone. We have to be ok with being bad before we can be good, we have to be ok with failure and rejection, we have to be ok with maintaining our vision through hurdles and setbacks, we have to be ok with writing and talking about our work, and on it goes. This can play havoc with our thoughts, emotions and energy levels, and navigating this day to day can be plain exhausting and painful.

Rach’s book is about how we can train ourselves to not just be ok outside of our comfort zone, but to find genuine stability there, always, and thrive. If you are an artist that knows there has to be inner change to become who you want to be, and to make the work you want to make, take some time to watch our conversation and get a copy of RJ’s free e-book, Unshakeable Inner Peace.
